(Misc.) The previous reviewer obviously did not know what they were talking about with this stopper as they didn't even have a clue on how to remove the one they had in their tub. I suspect they didn't even have this particular stopper, but were just commenting on this general style plug. I just got two of these to replace missing stoppers from a rental home we have and they worked just fine. One just needs to make sure they are screwed in all the way and they work well with no leaking. These style stoppers are prone to leaking just because of their design, but these are just as good as the original ones that needed replacement. Amendment: The review I originally made reference to is no longer posted. I did want to say that the stoppers are still in use a couple of years since my original review and are still working fine.
