Sierra Tools EZ Zip Drain Cleaner Reviews
29 of 29 people found the following review helpful Good, but one limitation, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sierra Tools EZ Zip Drain Cleaner (Misc.) Purchased the product a few months ago. Beware, the Ez Zip Drain Tool is a good deal shorter (seems to me) in length than pictured in the illustration. Actual overall length: a bit under 20 inches. At first I thought: "Ripoff alert!" but it worked liked a dream on the first drain I tried it with. When I recently tried it on a drain clog in different sink, however, it proved useless because the pipe was simply too long and the tool could not reach the blockage. What a pity it isn't the actual length it appears to be in line drawing illustration and on the packaging (2.5 - 3 feet?) then it would rate 5 stars for sure. 16 of 16 people found the following review helpful Good product for short pipe with access, This review is from: Sierra Tools EZ Zip Drain Cleaner (Misc.) The product is very good and easy to use if you can access your drain like what the picture shows. Give it 4 star here because you can get it for $2 in HomeDepot. 8 of 9 people found the following review helpful The Handle BROKE OFF., By Eric "Regular Guy" (Central MA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sierra Tools EZ Zip Drain Cleaner (Misc.) What a piece of junk. If you want to make a problem worse, buy one now.Brand new: I opened the box, opened the package, and slid the Ez Zip Drain Cleaning Tool down the sink drain. When I changed from push to pull, and the handle broke off almost effortlessly. It snapped clean, like cheap plastic. I wasn't yanking on it like pull-starting my lawnmower. I wouldn't even call it a tug. I spent twenty minutes taking the drain apart to get the broken piece out, which of course broke off inside the drain and out of reach from the sink basin. If I wanted to spend twenty minutes taking the drain apart, I wouldn't have bought this. Even if these were FREE, I would NEVER use one again. EVER. |
